Club 300

A total of 300 tickets are sold for each 6 month draw session. The 300 are all entered into each of the 26 weekly draws. Every week, a lucky ticket holder will win either the regular $100 cash prize, or one of the quarterly $500 prizes. The final draw of the lottery on week 26 is for a grand prize of $1000!. Ticket sales are now underway for the draws that start September 6, 2007! Ticket prices will be $26 for the 6 month draw period - that's only $1 for each draw. Remember! Your ticket can win more than once! Proceeds to support Hope Rotary Club Student Scholarship and Bursary Funds for Hope and Boston Bar High School Students.

Make sure you contact your favourite Rotarian to reserve your ticket before they all sell out.


TV Auction

From 1992 to 2003, the Rotary Club of Hope raised funds and entertained the local community with the annual Rotary TV Auction, held in mid November. The production quality and calibre of on air delivery was somewhat less than you would experience on national network TV, but a good time was had by both the production crew and viewers, and thousands of dollars were raised each year to support the community projects and activities of the Rotary Club of Hope.

A building full of valuable donated goods from Hope and area businesses and merchants are put on the auction block, and money raised goes to support Hope Rotary projects. 

All past and potential future donors are urged to start planning now for what they want to donate. Remember, in return for your donation, you will receive the following benefits!

  • The knowledge that you have helped Rotary Club of Hope in its ongoing service to the of community of Hope

A Barrel of Fun...

Click here for information about the 2008 event! Each May, Hope and the Fraser Canyon experience return of the Fraser River Barrel Race. The fun and festivities happen every spring around Mother's Day. After preliminary events on the Saturday before the race, things get rolling early Sunday morning with the a Launch Breakfast at Hell's Gate, followed by the "Barrel Launch" into the Fraser River below the Fisheries bridge. The barrels make the wild dash through the wild canyon waters to the finish line at Yale. The event finishes up with a wind up BBQ where the winners will be declared and prizes will be awarded!

There are ample ways for everybody to take part, including the Barrel Race Draw, where you can pick the winning barrel and time to win big! The "herd" of racing barrels is limited to 40 entrants, and they sell fast, so all potential sponsors out there are urged to contact the Hope Rotary Club as soon as the race date is announced to reserve a spot on the starting line!
